Shorter days and sweaters...

So the days are getting shorter and colder out here in Georgia, and I have offically been here for almost a year. Crazy, absolutely crazy.

The highlight of the past few weeks was going to Kentucky for Will's college homecoming. We had a great time and I met a ton of his friends. We also swung back through Nashville to see Misty and Chris, some of my old college friends, which was nice too. The week after next, Will and I run the Atlanta half-marathon, then drive back to Kentucky for Thanksgiving with his family. I am very excited to meet the rest of Will's family... It should be very interesting. Next on the docket is going out to California in mid-December, so that Will can meet my family and a select group of friends. (Sorry guys, we can't see everyone, we will only be out there for four days...)

Last Saturday night, Will, Kim, Jim and I went out for a few drinks and a little dancing. Always a good time... Drinking and debauchery with the friends. It was a little slow here in Columbus, due to the fact that it was a four-day weekend and everyone and their mother got the hell out of Dodge, but we made the best of it at Big City Club anyways. It is never hard to have a good time and take some inappropriate pictures of boobs (which will not be posted here) with Kim... You have to check out MySpace for those! Such the instigator that little girl! Ha-ha. To your right is the first offical posted picture of Will and I... I am blessed to be loved by such a caring, intelligent, affectionate and handsome individual. Lucky, lucky me... Unfortunately, February is coming way too fast for us... Will is PCSing to Ft. Wainwright, Alaska, and I will be stuck here at Ft. Benning for the time being. Hopefully that will change before the end of next year.

In the mean time, I am just working my little butt off at Martin Army and waiting to pin on First Lieutenant December 1st, along with my other LT friends. I think we are going to have a big blowout party to celebrate. We are thinking 80's cover band and LOTS of beer... In my opinion, you can never go wrong with that combination.

Other than that, not much else is cracking down in the South.

66H out...
