Why don't they tell you it is so hard not to be "the crazy girl"...

So I am totally drunk, and I will probably regret my dinner choice of four beers, a shot of Jager, and Honey BBQ Fritos tomorrow morning when I get up to go to work; But right now, I feel awesome!! Now, you might be wondering why I am drunk on a work night... Well, I got my house key back from the boy tonight, and am finally done with him. I deleted his number from my phone and deleted him from my MySpace page, mainly so I won't even be tempted to contact him in the least, and be deemed another crazy girl that he dated. Yay for me for having such will-power. Luckily, I ran into Jim as he was going to SOHO when I pulled into the parking lot from work, so I joined him and Andy for some drinks. We had a lovely time... Jim always tells me that I deserve better and for that, I love him. As evidenced by the photo at left... Ha-ha.

Well, enough of the candid sentiment, it is time for me to go to bed, so I am not totally trashed in the morning.

I guess I am officially back to square one... Good thing we are old friends...

How boring...

Has my life been this week?? Thankfully, Thursday night comedy at The Loft is becoming a staple in my life. It just breaks up the week so nicely, and gives me a much needed laugh, as well as a night out with the friends. It was especially funny last Thursday; I think it is safe to say it was the funniest show we have seen to date. However, we should probably start making reservations, we were the last group to get in on Thursday...

Other than that, we have PAI at the hospital at 0600 tomorrow... Of course we do, it is once again my day off, and I have to be at the hospital bright and early! I also going to go buy a washer and dryer tomorrow... Needless to say, the seven-plus loads of laundry in my room are super excited. Ha-ha.

Well, now that I have said nothing of philisophical importance... Leah and I are off to see a movie, to keep me out of trouble...

Girls like guys with skills...

Leah stepped on this cute little Ninja dude in the coffee shop at the hospital, and I had to glue him to my badge... I love the nunchucks. The next time someone tries to bully me at work, its on!!

Ninja!

Earth to Audrey...

So I haven't posted in awhile... I blame it on laziness. Well, not too much has been blog-worthy lately either...

However, I did get to go to Peter's Ranger School graduation last Friday. I am so proud of him, he was a first time go, which happens to a very slim percentage of students. Marty, alas, will be staying at Ranger School a bit longer... Which is not uncommon, and it means I get to go to another Ranger School graduation in August. There is a pretty cool demonstration of what Rangers do before the graduation ceremony, to include detonation of explosives, and I love to see things get blown up... Ha-ha.

So, Peter is now done with TRADOC, and will be off to Ft. Campbell soon. Marty will also be stationed at Ft. Campbell when he graduates in August. I think it is an excellent coincidence that I happened to get to see my two favorite ROTC buddies for so long here at Ft Benning, and that I will get to see them again whenever I venture out to Ft. Campbell...

For the Fourth, Leah, Jim, Andy and myself barbecued hamburgers and steaks out by the pool and drank beer. It was a nice, chill afternoon and the pool is always an awesome place to hang out here. Later on in the evening, Leah and I went to Callaway Gardens to see the fireworks. I was excited, it has been three years since I have seen fireworks on the Fourth of July...

Today, I have just been playing around on the internet, watching Jinx be cute laying out on the porch, and getting ready to do laundry... I was too lazy to wash my whites last week, so I went to work in my BDUs last weekend, and everyone was confused, especially one of the doctors that had never seen me in them before. He actually commented that he wasn't sure if I even owned a set of BDUs... Guess I had better wash my whites so the whole floor doesn't descend into turmoil over me working in my BDUs... Ha-ha.

I guess I should also mention that things are still going well with the boy... We have been dating for a couple of months now and continue to enjoy each others' company. He has been pretty busy with school and scuba lately, but we still manage to see each other a few times a week for dinner or coffee. Overall, I would be hard-pressed to complain... ;)

Well, I am off to do something productive with the rest of my day!
